Join us on Saturday August 12th for the first ever Neoangels Sponsored Superhero Stroll!
All the babies and families which are cared for on our unit are superheroes in their own right – so we decided to base our event theme on them!
We have planned a leisurely stroll around the stunning Hardwick Park in Sedgefield, where, after a lovely walk together, we’ll stop off for a picnic on the field.
The stroll is for everyone, anyone of any age can come along and support the Neoangels charity – the more the merrier! We would love to raise as much money as we can for our unit, you can download your sponsorship form at www.neoangels.org.uk
If you’re coming along with your kids and they’ve been on the unit, we would be chuffed if they could bring a photo with them of their time on the ward so that we can make a photo album as well as get all the children together for a huge group photo!
If you are wanting to walk in memory of an angel baby, we’d be honoured to have you come along, and if you could bring their photo with you we’d love to have your photo taken with your little one and have you featured in the photo album and huge group photo.
The picnic for the children has been kindly provided by the Co Op in Norton. If you have any dietary requirements for your little people, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll sort this for you.
Each child will get their own balloon to tie on their wrist or bag (even a buggy!) as well as a goody bag and cape from us. Each family walking in memory of a baby will also get a balloon for their little one to carry around as well as a heaven-sent goody bag.
We will be compiling a register of everyone walking or walking in memory of for the Sponsored Superhero Stroll, so watch out for an email dropping in to your inbox shortly after you’ve booked your spaces.
