We’d love you to say a great big hi and give a wave to Zoe Musgrave! Zoe, who is also not just a Trustee but a Neonatal Nurse too started her career back in 2010 working as a staff nurse in the Health Visiting Community Team.
In 2011 Zoe started her journey as a Neonatal Nurse up at Sunderland Royal Hospital where she stayed for two years, wanting to be a little closer to home, she took a job on the Children’s Ward at the University Hospital of North Tees.
Although she loved working with older children and seeing such a huge variety of different illnesses and medical needs, Zoe missed life on the Neonatal Unit. Luckily a job came up on our unit three years ago and she’s never looked back!
Zoe strives to improve care for babies and this passion is not only what drives her in her role as a nurse, but for her role in the charity. When the idea of a charity was proposed by one of the Sisters on the unit, Zoe knew immediately she wanted to help and be a part of not only improving care for babies, but also for families too.
Zoe was one of the founding members of Neoangels and has played a massive part in getting us where we are today. If you want to know the secret to Zoe’s success of being a mum to a little boy and a nurse and trustee, the answer is night shift chocolate – she can’t get through a night shift without it!
